
Senator Corzine was the victor in the New Jersey gubernatorial race and will take office in January 2006. As for Mercer County, District 14 and 15, the incumbents won. Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein (D) and Assemblyman Bill Baroni ® will serve in District 14 and Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman and Assemblyman Reed Gusciora will serve in District 15. Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman now serves as the Democratic Majority Leader and talk has her being considered for the Lt. Governor position in 2009 along with Mayor Douglas Palmer.
