
We here at the Mercer County Medical Society have amassed an extensive collection of medical research, journals, reference books, and other informative documents over the past few hundred years. We have kept these in our private collection up until now. Recently we have begun to convert all of our materials over to a digital format so that the information contained in these volumes may be safe from years of decomposition and degradation. With these new digital copies of our historic works we are founding the John F. Marshall Historical Archive. The late Dr. Marshall, who was a former President of the MCMS, was committed to the continuting education of the public and the medical community on the advancements in medicine. He was noted for his own personal collection of historical research documents and for keeping extensive journals himself. To honor him for his contributions to both the MCMS and to the world of medicine we name our collection in his honor.
